Foundation Learning

In Foundation we have settled into the new term very quickly and are straight back into our learning routines. It's hard to believe it's only our second term of school! 

In writing, we have been using all the sounds we have learnt so far together with heart words to write sentences. This allows us to practise sounding out words, and capital and lower case letters, finger spaces and full stops. 

In maths we have been partitioning numbers into two and three parts. We pretended we made some delicious cookies and shared them in many different ways with our teachers and friends.

French

Foundation students became little chefs at the end of Term 1. To conclude our Inquiry Unit, Happy Healthy me, and to reuse the learnt vocabulary in context, we made a fruit smoothie and a vegetable soup. We all had a go at tasting it and were very proud of ourselves!
