JERSEY UPDATE
Moving forward students who receive a jersey for any upcoming trial, gala day or interschool sport will be recorded as proof of this borrowing method. This will allow our school to continue to use these jerseys and have enough for all students to wear and represent our school proudly at the many sporting events we provide to all students. Once jerseys are washed and returned to the school office, our staff will mark that the jersey has been returned. Any jerseys not returned will incur a fee to replace this jersey.
Please check the wardrobes at home and return any jerseys of any style (singlet, soccer jersey or footy jersey) which belongs to the school. Thank you for the cooperation with this matter.
Interschool Sport
Interschool sport has been a huge hit for 2025 and will continue in a similar fashion for 2026. A big thank you to all the staff, students, volunteer refs and the sport team and SCS for providing this opportunity for our students. We have news that the chosen sports for interschool in 2026 will be league tag, netball with european handball all abilities, football (soccer) and AFL.
Swimming Carnival 2025
The Annual School Swimming Carnival for Years 3-6 was held on Thursday 6th November 2025 at Engadine Swimming Pool. The carnival is a fun, school event but also acts as a trial for the Conference 3 Swimming event which will be held on Tuesday 9th February 2026. We are excited to share some photos of this fabulous day as well as announce our students who will progress to the Conference Trial next year.
We have had great feedback on the K-2 Splash Day with all our infants getting involved with their teachers. This splash day has become a new annual tradition for our infants and one we sure they will look forward to for 2026.
Below are the results from our recent Swimming Carnival. Congratulations to all our competitors. Qualifying students have received a paper note informing them of their progressions for specific events.

Representative Sport
A big congratulations to Lana B who competed at the NSWPSSA carnival. She came 2nd in the 200m and 3rd in the 100m. Nearly breaking the NSW state record, Lana was only off by 6 milliseconds. She was the fastest qualifier for the semi final and again was the fastest qualifier for the final. In the final, Lana slipped off the blocks but managed to bounce back and catch up to come 3rd. We wish Lana all the best as she competes at the School Sports Australia carnival in the coming weeks. She will race in the 100m, 200m and the 4x100m relay.
We also had Nixon T and Lucas PV attend the Conference 2 and 3 combined Basketball trials at Bankstown Basketball Stadium. What a great experience for these boys to trial amongst high level talent.
Congratulations to Xavier E who also attended the Sydney Cricket Trials after his selections from the recent Conference Trials.
