Principal's Report
DINA FIECK
Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to extend a warm welcome to our six German exchange students that arrived during the holidays.
We would like to extend a very warm welcome to our six German exchange students Lina, Viola, Jacob, David, Banning, and Maila who arrived during the holidays.
It’s no small thing to be away from home and parents, in a foreign country, right in the heart of Australia! Next week they will visit Uluru, an experience they are sure to remember for a lifetime.
Each student is staying with a family from our school community and will experience as much of Australia as possible during their stay. This is truly a life-changing adventure, and at the end of the year, they will return to Germany accompanied by six of our students, who will enjoy a snowy Christmas with their host families abroad.
If you see our German visitors around the school, please say hello or try out your German and help make them feel at home here in Alice Springs.
This is an exciting new development for our school in Alice Springs, bringing the wider world of Steiner Education to our students and our students to the wider world. We hope to continue this initiative for the future Year 9 students.
