Principal's Message

Dear parents, kin and carers,

I hope you enjoy this "Winter" edition of our school newsletter.

I acknowledge that Term 2 was significantly disrupted by AEU industrial action, and that I as Principal have also chosen to participate in this campaign. Thank you for your support for our campaign for improved pay and conditions. We understand our action presents difficulties for some parents and carers. An agreement between the state government and AEU members is not yet in place and the dispute remains unresolved.

Every other state and territory fund their public schools to the minimum amount required, except for Victoria. The Labor government has made a deliberate decision to not fund Victorian public schools to the nationwide funding standard.  The goodwill of teachers, education support staff, and principals is no replacement for full and proper funding.
