Mordi College's Litter League

Mordi College's Litter League

At Mordialloc College litter has become a big issue. Luckily, the school has come up with a new initiative to solve that problem. It is a school clean up competition where classes compete to pick up the most rubbish. Additionally, to spice things up, there is a reward for the winning class - a pizza party!

The competition is held during homegroup lessons and all equipment is provided by the school. The competition is marked by the teachers on teamwork and effort. Each class will compete once and after all classes have competed the winning class is rewarded which serves as motivation for the students. The teachers cannot take part in the competition but mark the class based on their performance.

The competition serves as an amazing way for students to get fresh air, clean up the school and build teamwork skills while having fun.
