We are delighted to announce the establishment of our new School Advisory Council—a significant and exciting step forward in the continued growth and development of St Mary’s.
I’m truly looking forward to working in close partnership with this passionate and dedicated group.
A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you for generously offering your time, energy, and expertise. Your fresh perspectives and valuable insights will play a vital role in shaping the future of our school. Together, we are moving forward with purpose, vision, and a shared commitment to making St Mary’s the best it can be.
These are exciting times ahead for St Mary’s, and we look forward to building an even stronger, more vibrant school community together!
GATHERING & DRINKS!!
Thank you to our P&F for providing drinks and nibbles to celebrate our mothers. Your generosity and effort helped make the occasion warm, welcoming, and memorable for everyone. We truly appreciate your support in bringing our community together.
MORNING COFFEE!!
A heartfelt thank you to all the mums and families who joined us for our Cuppa and Pastry morning. It was wonderful to see so many of you come together, creating such a warm and welcoming community spirit.
Events like these truly highlight the strength and connection within our school community, and we’re so grateful for your presence and support.
A special thank you once again to our incredible P&F team for organising the event – your time and effort are deeply appreciated.
MOTHER'S DAY STALL
Finally, thank you to all the amazing mums who helped set up and run the Mother’s Day Stall. Your time, effort, and generosity created a wonderful opportunity for our children to choose that special gift.
We truly appreciate you giving up your time to make this event so special — thank you!
In reflecting on Mother's Day, I acknowledge and celebrate Mothers and mothering. I make that distinction because I know that many people – aunts, step-parents, close family friends, dads – may sometimes fulfil the chief mothering role in families. So... to all the Mothers who wake up early, pack lunches, tie shoelaces, wipe away tears, and offer endless hugs and encouragement — thank you for everything you do. Your unconditional love is the foundation upon which our children grow and thrive.
Please note that all students should now have transitioned to the winter uniform. We understand that some families have shared that their child prefers to wear shorts year-round. This is acceptable, provided the shorts are the official, tailored school shorts.
Thank you for your cooperation.
I'm pleased to announce that our rescheduled sports day has been booked for Thursday May 22.
Please save the date and come along either as a parent helper or just to cheer on our children.
