Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition
During Term 2, interested Stage 2 and Stage 3 students tried out to represent Ben Venue in the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition. In its 30th year, the competition is a wonderful opportunity for students in Stage 2 and 3 to practise speaking publicly on a chosen topic with a focus on multiculturalism. It was a tough decision, as we heard some really great speeches, and we encourage all students who tried out to do so again next year.
Congratulations to the following students who were chosen to represent Ben Venue during Week 10 last term in our local final held at Drummond Memorial Public School.
From what I hear, the competition was tough. However, these students represented Ben Venue with pride. Extra congratulations goes to Georgia Clark who received a highly commended on the day. A huge thank you to the parents who supported their children to participate in this event. We are looking forward to 2026 already!
