Bastille Day!

Bonjour tout le monde!

This term we'll be holding a (very belated) Bastille Day celebration. Bastille Day, France's National Holiday, is July 14th during our holidays and, with a packed first 2 weeks back in Term 3, we decided to celebrate on Friday 8th August (Week 3).

The day will involve the following:

• All children will be invited to come dressed in French colours or as a French figure. Prizes to the best dressed!
• All classrooms will have an additional French session using our phenomenal TCL scheme.
• A visit from our TCL coach, Eleonor Palacio, to see all the great work we do using French here at St Bede's.
• Tuck shop will provide a special French themed menu.
• Buddies will have a French themed activity. 
• A French Insta takeover!

Hopefully these activities will provide children a deeper understanding and immersion into French culture and showcase the wonderful language we speak so well here at St Bede's.
