SSV STATE SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS
A huge congratulations to Perry S (3/4J), who proudly represented both himself and Greenhills Primary School at the SSV State Swimming Championships held last week at MSAC.
Perry had an incredible meet, winning a silver medal in the U10 Boys 50m Breaststroke and placing 4th in the U10 Boys 50m Butterfly. This achievement can’t be understated - especially considering more than 30,000 students began this journey at the District level.
Even more impressively, Perry competed as a bottom-age swimmer and will return to the same division next year.
The entire Greenhills community is incredibly proud of your hard work, effort, and achievements. Well done! 💪🏼
COMMUNITY SPORTING ACHIEVEMENTS
If your child achieves something special (grand final win, most valuable player award, best and fairest etc.), please email me (jordan.daley@education.vic.gov.au) through photos and an overview of the achievement to post in Contact. It is important to celebrate and recognise such successes with the school community.
Thank you,
Jordan Daley

OFFICE NEWS
STUDENT PICK UP
The office team would like to politely remind parents to avoid picking students up during recess (10.55 – 11.25) and lunchtime (1.30pm - 2.20pm) where possible. Picking up just before or after these times is preferable as students struggle to hear or listen to announcements during play time and classrooms are locked during these times, so it is logistically difficult for children to collect their bags.
LOST PROPERTY
We have a lot of unlabelled uniform that ends up in lost property, which we cannot return. Lost property is checked weekly by the office, named items are returned to classrooms via the pigeonholes.
