We hope all mothers, carers, grandparents, aunties, guardians, and the special people who nurture and care for the children in our community felt celebrated and appreciated over the weekend.

We recognise that every family is unique, and that children are supported by many different people in their lives — including single parents, same-gender parents, extended family members, foster and kinship carers, and other important caregivers. We also acknowledge that days such as Mother’s Day can bring a range of emotions for families and children.

Thank you to all those who provide love, care, guidance, and support to our children each day. Your role in their lives is deeply valued and appreciated.

🍳 Senior Chefs Project – By the Children, For the Children! 🍕

We are excited to launch a brand-new project designed especially for our senior children at OSHC!

Over the past week, our seniors have been working together to create their very own special cooking menu. The children shared ideas, discussed their favourite foods, negotiated choices, and planned meals they would like to cook independently together at OSHC.

This week, ingredients will be provided and the program planning updated so our senior chefs can begin bringing their ideas to life in the kitchen! This exciting project is all about:

⭐ Building independence and confidence⭐ Encouraging teamwork and collaboration⭐ Strengthening communication and problem-solving skills⭐ Giving children more voice and choice within the OSHC program⭐ Creating meaningful connections with one another through shared experiences

We are incredibly proud of the creativity, leadership and enthusiasm our senior children have already shown. We cannot wait to see their delicious ideas come to life!

🤸 Tumbling with Tara! 🤸

Get ready to jump, roll, balance and tumble with Tara every Wednesday from 4:00pm – 5:00pm!

This exciting program gives children the opportunity to build confidence, coordination, strength and teamwork through fun movement-based activities and beginner gymnastics skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Whether your child loves cartwheels, stretching, balancing or simply moving their body and having fun with friends, Tumbling with Tara is a fantastic way to stay active after school!

🗓 Every Wednesday⏰ 4:00pm – 5:00pm

We can’t wait to see our children flipping, tumbling and having fun together!

Student-Free Day – OSHC Program Reminder

A reminder that we are planning to offer an All Day OSHC program on the upcoming Student-Free Day on Friday 5 June, pending sufficient bookings.

To ensure the program is viable to operate, we must meet minimum booking numbers. We kindly ask families to submit their bookings as soon as possible.

🗓 Booking deadline: Friday, 22 May📢 Program confirmation: Monday, 25 May

If minimum numbers are not reached by the booking deadline, unfortunately the program may not go ahead.

💲 Cost: $95 per day (before CCS)🥣 Included: Breakfast and afternoon tea🍱 Please bring: Lunch and morning tea

We encourage families to secure their place early to avoid disappointment and to support us in making this program possible.

June/July School Holiday Program

Our June/July School Holiday Program is approaching quickly, and we are excited to share another fun and engaging program with our OSHC community!

Please refer to the attached flyer for a full overview of the planned activities. Please note that the program is subject to confirmation and some activities may change.

Please note that bookings for the School Holiday Program cannot be made through the

 app, as we need to carefully monitor numbers to ensure we remain within capacity limits.

🎬 Excursion Update:Our movie excursion on Thursday 2 July will be Toy Story 5 (PG rated).

We recommend booking early, as places may fill quickly.
