Leadership Report

Term 2, Week 3
Dear families,
It’s been an exciting fortnight at Williamstown North Primary School with lots to celebrate.
Firstly, a huge thank you to our Year 6 School Leaders who represented themselves and our school with maturity and grace at the ANZAC Day dawn service last week.
On Tuesday 5th May, we will be hosting a 2027 Prep Information Night, commencing at 6pm. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear about our Prep program and spend some time in Prep classrooms. We are also offering school tours on Tuesdays and Thursdays and would appreciate you encouraging any families, with prep-ready children to attend and get a sense of what we have to offer next year.
Next week Tuesday 12th May, we will be delivering our 2025 Annual Report to the community before our scheduled school council meeting. This will commence at 5:30 in the Conference Room and you’re more than welcome to attend. Please rsvp to darcie.brown@education.vic.gov.au by CoB Monday 11th May.
As you’re aware, there have been changes to when our school is accessible. Unfortunately, this is due to vandalism that’s taking place out of hours.
School Drop Off | Gates Open | 8.35am |
Gates Close | 9.15am | |
School Pick Up | Gates Open | 3.00pm |
Gates Close | 4.00pm |
We invite you to make use of the onsite OSH Club if needed and support us as we continue to keep our school and students safe.
As the year progresses, we are aware that there are numerous excursions and camps that need to be paid for. If you would like to have a confidential discussion regarding alternative payment plans and available supports, please reach out to darcie.brown@education.vic.gov.au and we can schedule these at a mutually convenient time.
Kind regards,
Shevani Moodley - Deputy Principal
Leadership Team for 2026
