Welcome to the Upper Unit

Grade 5/6 students are participating in an exciting art project with local artist Sandra Kropinyeri. As part of the experience, students revisited and discussed different forms of Aboriginal art, exploring how storytelling, culture and identity can be expressed through artwork.

Students engaged in meaningful conversations about the importance of Connection to Country and identified animals that hold significance within our local region. Drawing inspiration from a range of images, students began sketching their chosen animals in preparation for the creation of a final collaborative artwork that will be proudly displayed in the entrance of our new office building.
