What an exciting few weeks it has been!
We kicked things off with the Prep Bake Sale, their very first one and golly was it amazing! A huge thank you to all the parents who baked and brought in such delicious treats for everyone to enjoy.
We then progressed to our inaugural St Mary’s Family Fun Day on Saturday the 15th.
It was an incredible day filled with smiles, talent, laughter, food, glam and great tunes! Days like this don’t just happen, they come from hours and hours of preparation from many dedicated people.
On behalf of the P&F, we would like to thank all the St Mary’s staff for their ongoing support. The constant running in and out of the school, moving things around and helping with the little things (like labels) is never too much for them. We appreciate you immensely. We can't thank Cathy and James enough for their support and tireless work they did for the event while also doing their day to day job at the school.
A big thank you also to our wider community partners. Park Bar for the delicious sushi, Journeyman Café for the much needed coffee and the Parish for the Bake Sale. The Family Fun Day isn’t just about bringing our St Mary’s community together, it’s also about celebrating and supporting the wider community around us.
To all the volunteers who helped on Friday afternoon, early Saturday morning and throughout the day to pack up THANK YOU! Many of you worked a full eight-hour shift on Saturday. The day would not have run as smoothly without your support and we cannot thank you enough and to everyone who dropped off tables and marquees these were invaluable on the day, Thank you!
Finally, a special shout-out to Holly and Mel, who do an incredible amount of work behind the scenes. These events simply wouldn’t be possible without their organisation, dedication and passion for our school community. Thank you for always putting up with my late-night messages - you’re the best!
Classroom Representatives for 2026
As we approach the end of the year, we are beginning to plan ahead and are now seeking Classroom Representatives for 2026. Our class reps play a vital role in strengthening communication, building community and coordinating activities throughout the year.
If you enjoy being involved in the life of our school, we’d love to hear from you. It’s a rewarding role, and you’ll be well-supported by the P&F leadership team. If you’re interested, please drop your name into the Google Form below and we’ll be in touch.
P&F Secretary – Expressions of Interest
We are also seeking Expressions of Interest for anyone who may like to join the P&F Leadership Team next year in the role of Secretary. If you enjoy being involved and want to make a contribution to our school community, we would love to hear from you.
