Book Week 2026

What an exciting way to start our week with the celebration of Book Week and dress up day. It was a wonderful to see all the colour and creativity present on Monday morning. It was great or celebrate literacy in so many different forms. Thanks to the staff and students who participated on the day, and especially to the wonderful parent community who helped with the creations and came along to support the parade.

Staff Spirituality Day

The staff spent a wonderful day together last Wednesday in reflection on the topic of ‘pilgrimage’ which was led by Fr. Jake Mudge who was the keynote speaker. Productive workshops and discussions on ways we continued to engage and develop opportunities spirituality all about community.

Festival of the Founders

Next week sees the launch of the Festival of the Founders. Each day we will focus on one of our House Patrons – getting to know who they are and why we celebrate them in our community. Each day the students from each house will gather in the library at 1.15 have a session about their founder. We will NOT be dressing up in house colours for these days.

Whole School Mass

Next Wednesday the 27 August, we invite you to join us at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Quarry Hill to celebrate the feast day of our school patron, St. Monica. This is a whole school event. The Mass will be at 9:30 AM and you're all invited to join us. Please extend the invite to other family members, grandparents and friends who may like to join us for this special occasion.

New Arrival 

Mrs Sheean and her family have welcomed a baby boy - Lenny William. 

We send love and blessings to wish them all the best in this new chapter of their lives as a family of 4.
