Clyde Lunchtime Netball Tournament

During Term 2 and the start of Term 3, students in Year 5 and 6 had the opportunity to participate in a lunchtime Netball Tournament. They organised their own teams and team names and Mrs Bevis put together the fixture. We had students umpire too! We had 7 teams compete with a boys league and girls league.  On Monday 10th August we held the Grand Finals for both leagues. The Very Amazing People played the Netball Girls in the girls final, with The Very Amazing People winning the Grand Final. The Saga Returns played the Supreme 812 in the boys league, with The Saga Returns winning the Grand Final.

Teachers VS Year 6 Netball

Following the Tournament Grand Final we held the Teachers VS Year 6 Netball game! Every 5 minutes we subbed on a different Year 6 team! It was fast paced and great to watch! The crowd was amazing cheering on the teachers! A huge congratulations to the Teachers for winning the whole game 23-4! 

Casey Netball Tournament

On Tuesday 18th August we had 6 teams compete at the Casey Netball Tournament. It was a fun day for all, with some good games, close games and some great netball to watch. Congratulations to Year 6 Boys Clyde Saga Team who were undefeated the whole day and came away Premiers beating Hillcrest 12-7 in the Grand Final. 

Well done to everyone that competed. A big thank you to our parent helpers on the day too - Steph, Jenni, Karlie and Wendy!
