Celebrating Schools Challenge

We extend our congratulations to our Year 5 and 6 children who gave their very best last Wednesday evening at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. At the end of a very long day of rehearsals and preparations, they took to the stage with enthusiasm and energy, giving an amazing performance.

Thank you to our wonderful staff for their commitment and time given to support our children.  A special mention to Mr Huxtable who from a thought in his mind, created all aspects of our performance. We thank God for the gifts and talents we see in Mr Huxtable and our children.

Book Week

Our library has been the place to be this week as children have been celebrating stories with craft activities each morning and afternoon break. It is wonderful to see their joy bringing characters and scenes from the stories to life.

We eagerly look forward to our book week parade on Friday morning which is held as part of our assembly. It is always a joyful time seeing how stories come to life as we see many book characters at our parade.

Thank you for the role you play in supporting the development of imagination as you encourage and read with your children.

Thank you to our Librarian, Ms McLeod, who brings her love of books to all she does. She continues to create a warm, rich and high-quality library experience for our children.

SAPSASA District Athletics

At St Paul, ‘We Belong’ is one of our values. Last Friday’s SAPSASA District Athletics day was a shining example of our children belonging, as they represented St Paul at the SAPSASA District Athletics.  Each child was part of a team and together they battled the morning rain to bravely give their very best throughout the day.

Thank you to Miss Bartlett for her incredible commitment and unwavering support for each team member as she enabled them to be their best.

2027 Planning

In the coming weeks you will receive updates on our 2027 planning and the changes that we will see. Thank you to those families who have provided feedback via the parent feedback survey, by sending an email to leadership or having a conversation with us. Your perspectives and questions are shaping our 2027 year.  You are still welcome to share your feedback and questions with us.

If you are uncertain whether you will continue at St Paul in 2027, we ask that you contact our Principal, James Heyne, jheyne@stpaulba.sa.edu.au or via the front office.

While there will be changes, we can be assured that the heart of St Paul, the valuing of each child and the care, nurturing and learning we expect will continue.
