Free Athletics Trial Day - East Geelong Little Athletics Club
East Geelong Little Athletics Club invites children of all ages and abilities to attend our free Trial Day on Saturday, 19 September 2026, from 10am to 12pm at John Landy Field.
This is a great opportunity for children to experience a range of track and field activities in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment before committing to the athletics season.
Families are encouraged to register their interest to receive further information about the season and athlete registration.

School Holiday Learn To Sail
The sailing academy at Royal Geelong Yacht Club is a not-for-profit operating out of the new Victorian Sailing Centre on Eastern Beach Road. We are an Australian Sailing-accredited Discover Sailing Centre running learn-to-sail courses for 5 year-olds upwards, and we’d love to be able to introduce the joy of sailing to some of your students!

The Mid-Autumn Festival, known as Tết Trung Thu in Vietnam, is a cherished celebration of children, family, culture and community. Our event offers students from all cultural backgrounds an enjoyable opportunity to experience Vietnamese traditions and learn about the cultural diversity of the Greater Geelong community.
The festival will feature a range of free, family-friendly activities, including:
- Lion dancing and musical performances
- Face painting
- Free lanterns
- Arts and craft making
- Vietnamese calligraphy
- Karaoke
- Opportunities to try Vietnamese snacks
Cultural activities and entertainment
For Vietnamese-Australian children, the festival provides an opportunity to connect with their language, heritage and community. For other students, it offers a welcoming and engaging introduction to Vietnamese culture.
Geelong Art Society
We are a not for profit art gallery and art school located in Aberdeen St Geelong West and have been serving the community for 75 years.
We offer art classes to children, after school from Tuesdays to Fridays. We also offer classes to adults Mon – Fri and workshops on weekends.
We are taking enrolments for our Term 4 classes from next week.
Hello from Geelong Sports Museum!
Geelong Sports Museum is a fantastic local destination for families looking for something fun and engaging to do during the break.
Open Thursday to Saturday from 10.00am to 2.30pm, the museum showcases more than 30 sports and offers interactive experiences including rowing down the Barwon River and stepping into the commentator's chair in our commentary booth.

We will be hosting a school holiday program for these coming September school holidays as an activity for any students not going away, which includes 3 x 1 hour karate classes.
