Year 5 Spotlight

Year 5 Camp at Phillip Island Adventure Resort
Our Year 5 students had an incredible time at Phillip Island Adventure Resort, enjoying three days full of adventure, laughter and new experiences. Camp was a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge themselves, build confidence and create lasting memories with their classmates.
Over the three days, students embraced every opportunity that came their way. They paddled their way around the lake during canoeing, soared through the air on the twin flying fox, conquered the giant swing, explored the natural environment during nature spotto, tested their skills in disc golf and even worked together to cook their own pancakes during camp cooking. One of the biggest highlights was our evening visit to A Maze'N Things, where students loved exploring the mazes, puzzles, optical illusions and playing mini golf. There were plenty of laughs, lots of teamwork and smiles all around.
While the activities were certainly exciting, it was the way our students supported one another that stood out the most. It was wonderful to see students encouraging friends to take on new challenges, celebrating each other's achievements and showing resilience when things felt a little daunting. Many students pushed themselves well beyond their comfort zones, and it was fantastic to watch their confidence grow throughout the camp.
We are incredibly proud of the way our Year 5 students represented our school. Their enthusiasm, kindness, respect and willingness to have a go made the camp such a positive experience for everyone involved. We know the memories, friendships and stories from these three days will be talked about for a long time to come!
