Every morning you arrive at school with a big smile on your face and a positive attitude that brightens our classroom. You have been fully locked into your learning, using whole body listening and giving everything a red-hot go. It has been especially lovely to see you encouraging your classmates to stay focused and do their best too. You should be so proud of the positive example you are setting. For having a fantastic work ethic in all subjects. Dougie, since you have come home from Europe, your dedication and perseverance haven’t gone unnoticed. In Phonics, not only have you learned the new phoneme for the week, but you have also gained excellent knowledge on the phonemes we learned while you were away. You have caught up well! I have also enjoyed reading your detailed holiday recount. You have used the five pillars to assist you and your punctuation was excellent throughout your writing too. Your team; Spain wins the World Cup and you win student of the week, all in one week! Congratulations!
