Chess Competition - Inspiring Excellence at Eglinton
A huge congratulations to our five Eglinton teams who competed in the Primary School Chess Competition on Tuesday. They all did a great job in representing our school and made us very proud. A special congratulations to our A team who won the day and will play in the regional tournament later in the year. Thank you Mrs Garner for organising this opportunity for students.

Congratulations to all students for gaining a Whole School reward for their commitment to following our school expectations of being Safe, Respectful Learners. On Tuesday 26 May students will be able to wear their pajamas' to school and will be treated to a movie. Well done everyone.
Today we hosted the Biggest Morning Tea at school. Students and staff all gathered in the Kinder playground and enjoyed a nice morning tea to raise funds for cancer. Thank you Miss Milgate for all your organisation.

When you are picking up or dropping off your child/children at OOSH please be mindful that this time is out of school hours for teachers. If you wish to discuss your child/children with their teacher please contact the office to make an appointment in school times to discuss your concerns.
There has been a lot of families leaving school through the admin gates in the afternoons and crossing the road at the bus bay. It is a really busy time of the day. Please use the crossing to cross the road to keep our students safe.
