Principal's Update

Hi everyone,
I hope you’re all well. I can’t believe this is our last newsletter for the term.
Looking back, we have had lots going on and many things to be proud of. The students need a big pat on the back for their hard work and resilience across the term. I would also like to congratulate the students who will receive their EMMAC badge at next week's assembly for having 100% attendance this term. This is an enormous effort and these students should be very proud!
EMMAC Winners
I’d like to give a huge congratulations to 12R on winning the EMMAC award for Term 1. They will be attending the Cobram Cinemas next Thursday, 3rd April, to watch ‘Dogman’. We hope they have a wonderful time!
Good Friday Appeal
I am always very proud of our students when they use initiative to help out the community. One of our Foundation students, Benji, is raising money for the Royal Children's Hospital as part of the Good Friday Appeal. Hopefully we can all get behind him and help him reach his goal.
School Photo Day
A reminder that next Friday 4th April is our school photo day. All students will have an individual photograph taken, along with a group photo of the class. These photos are available to purchase through the Leading Image Website using the school code sent home with students. If you do not wish for your child to be included in the class photo please contact the school by Tuesday 1st April.
Parent Teacher Interviews
Thank you to those families who made appointments to come along to our Parent Teacher Interviews last week. This was a fantastic opportunity to meet with your child's teacher to discuss progress over the term and goals for next term. If you were unable to attend the Parent Teacher Interviews please contact the teacher at the start of Term 2 to arrange another time.
Term end and start
Our last day for Term 1 is Friday 4th April, with school finishing at the normal time of 3:20 pm. Our first day for Term 2 will be Tuesday 22nd April, due to Monday 21st April being a public holiday for Easter Monday. Friday 25th April will also be a public holiday for ANZAC Day, students will be invited to participate in the ANZAC parade and ceremony at the Cobram Cenotaph.
Have a safe and happy holidays!
