ISHE 2026 (INTER-SCHOOLS HORSE EXTRAVAGANZA)
A Huge Thank You from our ISHE Team to Mrs Hardaker!
A big congratulations to all of our St Nicholas riders who represented our school so brilliantly at the Inter-Schools Horse Extravaganza (ISHE) in Tamworth over this past weekend!
Eleven students from St Nicholas Primary represented St Nicholas Primary at ISHE: Inter-Schools Horse Extravaganza at the AELEC in Tamworth last week. Students participated in Show Jumping, Sporting, Dressage, Working Horse Challenge and Show Riding.
All students represented St Nicholas with pride and impeccable behaviour. Their riding skills were exceptional, with some students coming home with ribbons in their events.
Congratulations to the following students for their attendance at ISHE; Max C, Maximus H, Louellen D, Harper C, Ivy N, Adaline D, Nicholas H, Ella H, Lexie T, Clancy H, and Hugo D.
We extend a massive thank you to Mrs Hardaker for her outstanding leadership, supervision, and support of our team throughout the event. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our dedicated parents and families—thank you for giving up your time, hauling floats, and assisting behind the scenes to make this opportunity possible for our students.
Your hard work and team spirit are greatly appreciated!
NETBALL NEWS
Hello Netball Families!
The St Nicholas Netball Presentation Afternoon will be held at school on Friday 30th October from 3:30 pm, followed by our AGM in Year 6 for interested parties.
This afternoon is for our Kindergarten skills and our teams, although siblings can attend!
Timeline:
- 2:55 pm- school ends. Students attending the presentation will meet Mrs Elliott in the COLA.
- 3:15 pm- Students have supervised play.
- 3:30 pm - Parents and coaches arrive.
- 3:35 pm- Presentation begins.
4:00 pm- AGM in Year 6. All welcome!
Coaches- Please bring in gear bags if you have not already done so.
Year 6- Please bring in uniforms so I can sell them on your behalf.
See you then!
BASKETBALL NEWS
ST NICHS LEGENDS
Recently during the school holidays, Louellen and Adaline Duncan attended the Stock Horse Youth Nationals 2026. This National event consisted of all riders from ages of 21 years and under with a large number of competitors. Adaline and Louellen performed at an exceptional level with great success.
Louellen:
11-13 yrs: 2nd Led - Reserve Champion led,
Rider 1st- Champion rider,
Hack 1st - Champion hack
Station horse 1st -Station horse champion
Pleasure Hack 2nd
Dressage 1st
Reserve Champion working.
Working Challenge 1st.-
Highest Point score 11-13yrs.
Over all Highest Point Score all of the the Nationals competitors 21 yrs and under.
Supreme rider and Supreme hack.
Adaline:
8-12 yrs: 1st Led
Rider 1st Reserve Champion rider
Pleasure Hack - 1st
Champion pleasure hack
Station horse 1st Reserve Champion Station horse.
Working 1st- Champion working
1st Junior Judging- Champion Junior Judging
Highest Point score over all 21yrs and under Junior Judging.
Highest point score 9-11yrs
Adaline also made it to Supreme Working, competing against a 20yr old.
