Important Changes to Lunch Orders

We wanted to let you know of the changes on ordering lunch orders via the MSC app. As we are all aware, due to recent government and RBA changes, credit card charges have changed.  MSC have communicated this to all users,  by their new terms and conditions, that they are no longer allowed to pass the surcharge onto parents. Unfortunately we were just informed of these changes over the holiday break so had been unable to get the information out to you until this week. We do apologise for not doing this before now, however we are currently still negotiating with them for the best outcome.

We have always strived to feed your children healthy fresh lunch options, whilst keeping it affordable for families, and for us to maintain a sustainable business, and this is unchanged.   The new pricing schedule has changed for you as families, and significantly for us as a small business using this platform with multiple new fees introduced.  We have had to remove the credit card purchase option, as that will now be charged to us as a business.  This amount would be unknown each week, of course dependant on how many people use it, so to be able to manage our increased costs due to that, we would have had to increase all of our menu prices for our business to survive.  Given the current challenging financial climate for everyone, we have decided to not increase food prices so as to keep it affordable for you.  The payment method now is a top up account, by which you can choose to use credit card to do this, please see attached flyer for MSC changes detailing this.

Please be assured that we are currently looking at all our alternatives, and working to achieve better solutions for you our customers, and us as a small business.  If there are any parents in your school community, who build apps/websites for their day job, that are capable of secure banking payments and interfacing with banks and Xero, we would love to hear from you.

We thank you for your ongoing custom in supporting our small local business.  As always we are happy to talk with you about any questions you have.

Thanks again,

Regards,

Nicole 0409115944 and Jo 0402781496

School Canteen Lunch Orders

KingWill is the business of two local school mums, Jo Williams and Nicole Kingston, who both have a passion for healthy and homemade food options for school children.  KingWill has been in business since 2017, and is a winner of the Hobson's Bay Food safety Awards.  We offer a large range of food options, mostly all homemade onsite, including hot food such as fried rice, pasta, hot subs along with freshly made sandwiches, salads, snacks, fruit, veggie sticks and fruit ice creams.

Ordering is simple and is via the MSC (My School Connect) app and with credit card payment.  Please see attached information on how to use MSC to order lunches.  We are a council registered, and nut free kitchen.  If your child has any specific dietary requirements, please feel free to contact us to discuss suitable menu options for them.   We are also happy to walk you through any problems or questions you may have about the MSC ordering system, please contact us on the below numbers, we are available weekdays except Tuesdays, from 8.30-3pm.

My School Connect is also an app/online ordering platform, it's easy to use, great customer support team and works for both smartphones and Android.  Please see attached information on how to download the app, how to get started/register your child/children and place orders before your school's first day of lunches.

We always strive to deliver healthy, value for money home made fresh food options to your children, and we continue to do that.

Regards,
