We would like to congratulate the Class of 2025 for their completion of their primary schooling at St. Leonard's. We invite you to read a reflection and farewell message from the Graduating Class.

I couldn't be more grateful for the experiences and memories my time here at St. Leonard’s has given me such as: school camps, Twilight Sports, meeting my buddy for the first time and many more. Thank you to all my teachers Mrs Zammit, Mr Cotesta, Mrs Wood, Miss Campli, Mrs Siomos, Miss T and Mrs Sedony who have added great memories to my amazing time here. I remember my first day of Prep vividly. Seeing so many colours, classrooms and smiling faces looking back at me I felt a euphoric sense of belonging and excitement to start a new chapter in my life, but even better, my journey at St. Leonard’s. Thank you to all my friends and teachers who have made my journey here at St. Leonard’s something I will always cherish.
Zara Buordolone

Thank you St. Leonard’s for giving me a place where I have grown, learned and made memories I will always treasure. One of my favourite moments was meeting my Year 6 buddy, Tyrese, when I was in Prep and he was a School Captain. All those years later, when he was in Year 12 this year, he wrote to me and congratulated me on becoming a School Captain. This is a memory I will always hold close. I’ve also loved our amazing Year 6 camp and the fun times playing with my friends on the oval. During my time at St. Leonard’s, I’ve learned the importance of believing in myself and working hard for the things that matter. I am truly grateful for every teacher, friend and experience that has helped shape who I am today and I will always carry the spirit of St. Leonard’s with me.
Marc Cetrola

My time at St. Leonard’s has been a fun rollercoaster and has been such a memorable one. Firstly I would like to thank all my teachers that have taught me over the years. It has been fun, exciting and scary. When I first started school at St. Leonard’s, it was scary because I didn't know anyone at the school but my teachers comforted me and then I made lifelong friends I will never forget. I loved school camps as they were fun and exciting. Thank you to all the teachers who helped and organised camp. Thank you for everyone who helped me through my whole primary school journey I will never forget it and will always cherish my time here.
Izaara Godinho

Thank you for my time at St. Leonards, it has been a fun time here. I will miss this school so much and my favourite memory is when I fell out of a Canoe and into the lake at Camp Rumbug. My Prep teacher was Mrs Foale and my Year 5/6 teacher was Mrs Sedony. I was very lucky to have them teach me. I had good times here and thank you to everyone here who helped me along the way.
Annabelle Kiss

Being a part of St. Leonard’s has been amazing and it was a highlight of my life. During that time I got to meet really nice friends who were with me during my seven years of primary school. Of course the amazing teachers I had cannot go unmentioned. Thank you so much to Mrs Foale, Mrs Wood, Mr Cotesta, Mrs Siomos and Mrs Sedony. Thank you for teaching me through my years of primary school. On the first day of Prep I was really scared to talk to anyone but my Prep teacher gave me the courage and I made so many new friends and now I have many friends that I can go to any time.
Summer Kwak

My time at St. Leonard’s has been the best seven years of my life with all my friends and teachers by my side. My time at St.Leonard’s has been a rollercoaster of fun and surprises and I would like to thank all of my extraordinary teachers that I have had during this time. Prep with Mrs Foale, Year 1 with Mrs Wood, Year 2 with Mr Cotesta, Year 3 with Miss Di Petta, Year 4 with Mrs Wood, Year 5 with Mr Cotesta and Year 6 with Mrs Sedony. Some of my most memorable memories at St. Leonards were arriving at school in Prep. I was struggling to hang up my school bag on the racks, nervously clinging to my Mum as we entered the classroom for the first time and being warmly welcomed into the class by Mrs Foale, which made me feel welcomed and more confident. Recess and Lunch were always highlights of the day, I remember running through the oval in awe at the sheer size of the school playground. I would like to thank every teacher and friend who helped me during my time at St. Leonard’s and I will always cherish the memories made at this school for years to come.

I remember feeling excited about seeing and meeting new teachers and making so many friends at this new school. I remember not having many friends from starting in Year 3 to now having an enormous group of friends that support me in every way. One of my favorite memories is when I remember my first day in Year 3. One of my friends, Ava, came and sat with me at lunch. Another memorable moment was when I got my Italian Monitor badge and I was so excited. Overall my time at St. Leonard’s has been an amazing experience and something I will never forget. My time at St. Leonard’s has been short and sweet, but fun. I have enjoyed every single moment of it. I am grateful for the teachers who had welcomed me when I joined the school. I have enjoyed my two years with my friends and my teachers. In Year 5 with Mrs Sedony and Mrs Brophy and Year 6 Miss T. I have made great memories. Some of my favourite memories were at the school concert where all the teachers started dancing and the whole building was shaking with cheering, laughter and screaming. The other one was at school when I walked into the wrong classroom. The teachers were kind enough to redirect me to the right classroom. So this is the final farewell, I’ll remember this school dearly.
Nathaniel Liu

My time at St. Leonard’s has been such an amazing time. I would like to thank all the teachers who have taught me new things throughout my primary school years. I would also like to thank all my friends who have supported me and stood up for me and always had my back. Hopefully we can see each other again even though we’re going to different high schools. My favourite memory from school was when we went to Camp Rumbug and did the Flying Fox and the Mud Run. During that time I really got to bond with my friends. What I've learnt here is that life is full of good times and bad times and that no one is perfect. I will never forget this school.
Jacob Mahawattegedara

My time at St. Leonard’s was so great. I would like to thank all the teachers for taking care of me and always checking that I was ok. My time at St. Leonard’s was amazing. In Year 2 I had Mrs Wood, Year 3 with Miss Toldi, Year 4 with Miss Campli, Mrs Sednoy for Year 5 and finally Miss T for Year 6. Thank you for teaching and putting your effort into me. My fondest memory was when I was in Year 5 at Camp Rumbug during the mud run. When my group went for another run in the mud, Thinuli and I chose to wait at the starting line while everyone else went for a second lap. We chatted and drew, then I spotted a dragonfly. We thought it wasn’t real and when we touched it with a long stick. It scared us by flying suddenly, then we moved away from it and hid behind a tree. It was so funny that we laughed about it for a long time once we returned to school.

The past 7 years at St. Leonard’s have been one of the best things in my life so far. It's been filled with so much fun and so many moments that I will never forget. I've been really lucky because I've had lots of awesome teachers. In Prep I had Mrs. Zammit, in Year 1 I had Mr. Cotesta and Mrs. Jolly, Year 2 was with Mrs. Wood, Year 3 was with Miss Toldi and Mrs. Robinson. When I got to Year 4, I had Mrs. Siomos and then Year 5 was with Mrs. Sedony and Mrs. Brophy. Finally, for Year 6, I had Miss T. A special moment was when I met my best friends, Lilian and Madison, back in Prep. They just came up to me, grabbed my hand and we started playing together like we'd known each other forever. Another thing I'll never forget was being picked to be a King in the Prep Nativity play, even though my crown kept falling off my head. I also got to be voted as a Green House Captain with Josh and a Guardians Monitor with Alfie, which has been a rewarding experience. I feel so thankful to everyone who supported me and shared laughs with me. My years at St. Leonard’s have been amazing and I know I'll always remember them!

My fondest memory was when I was at Sovereign Hill where I found gold while gold panning. It was very special to me. Thank you everyone who has helped me through this amazing journey at this school.
