Principal's News

Dear Families & Friends,

Our whole school concert has come and gone but what an amazing way to finish the school term. As I said after the concert, it is not very often that we have the occassion or the chance to have such a large number of people from our school community together in the one place. Seeing nearly 500 people at our show was a very memorable experience indeed. Once again I thank Ms Stanton for all her hard work and dedication in preparing our children for such great performances. It is so encouraging to see children, some you would not even suspect, perform so confidentaly on stage. I thank all of you also for your attendance and the many kind words and messages we received.  

Our school concert may well have been the highlight but Term 3 also saw many other exciting activities and experiences as well as daily lessons which our children completed each week. Who can forget, 100 Days of Prep, our whole school athletics day, walking the entire school to St Ignatius to celebrate mass, First Holy Eucharist, the BOITE School Choir, all the fun of Book Week, our Winter Woolies Day, Father's Day breakfast and of course our outstanding results in the Regional and Divisional Sports competitions. All of these things make school life exciting and engaging for our children. 

Term 4 is also set to be a busy one which will see our Middle and Senior students head off to their respective camps, our Juniors will complete their swimming program and of course all the excitement of the end of year Christmas activities and Year 6 Graduation. Please keep up to date with all that will be happening through NForma, SeeSaw and the Community Calendar.  

Thank you all once again for a wonderful Term 3. I wish all our families a safe and enjoyable school break and look forward to seeing you all again in Term 4. 

Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools – School Improvement Surveys (MACSSIS): 31 August –18 September 2026

Parents have until the end of the day tomorrow to complete the MACSSIS Survey sent this week. I really hope you can spend just 15 minutes completing the survey thanks.

School Sports Update from Mrs McLeary

Division Athletics

Last Friday when most of the school were having a sleep in I took 25 students to the Division Athletics competition at Meadowglen Stadium in Epping. We left the school at 8.30am and had a long drive to get there. Students got straight into their events with the competition being of a very high standard. But all of our athletes competed with excellence and to the best of their ability in the following events;

RELAYS 

We had some success with the following results;

Olivia V came 1st in 100m (15.18sec) and 200m (30.82sec)

Juju Ka\ came 2nd in High Jump (1.24m)

Mary B\ came 2nd in Discus (20.84m)

The Girls 11 yr Relay came 3rd

The first 2 placed in each event will now go through to represent at the North Regional competition in Term 4. Congratulations to all the students who did an amazing job and my 3 helpers who gave up their time to come along for the day; Ms Ava, Mr David and Ella.
