Congratulations to our F-2 Students on their fantastic habitat projects. We loved welcoming our school community into the ELC to see their habitat dioramas. Amanda from Cool.org came to visit our open morning and was so impressed by our pupils work. A selection of habitats were on display at the State Library of Victoria at a Cool.org event.

In 5/6A we have just finished a class novel titled Scar Town by Tristan Banks. The Children's Book Council of Australia awarded Scar Town the Book of the Year for Younger Readers in 2024. 5/6A loved this book and highly recommend it!

Below are some images of student work based on Scar Town. They include reading strategies such as making predictions, inferring, summarising and character analysis and descriptions. We also created our own front covers and blurbs for Scar Town.
