Every Day Counts!!

The building blocks of a great education begin with all students coming to school each and every day.

There are approximately 10 weeks in each term. If your child misses 1 day a week for a year they miss close to a quarter of the school year. If we look at this over their primary school life Foundation to Grade 6 they will miss more than 1 whole school year.

If they miss one day a fortnight they will miss four full weeks by the end of the year. By Year 10 they’ll have missed more than a year of school.

Regular school attendance is vital and missing school days can have a big impact on a child’s future.

Missing school not only impacts on academic success but also social and emotional health.
