Junior Parish Sports 

What a wonderful event our Junior students participated in last Friday down at St Joseph's.  It was wonderful to see so many parents come along and support on the day and a big thank you to Rebecca, Katie, Anna for assisting with marshalling the groups around the activities.  The students enjoyed the bus ride and seeing all of the smiling faces from the other junior students at St Joseph's and St Brendan's.  The weather was kind and the smiles on the faces say it all.  

District Triathlon

Our next Senior sporting event is the District Triathlon. Teams are chosen from our carnival results across the year, swimming, cross country and athletics. The race is a Year level race with students making up a team of a runner, a swimmer and a cyclist. We will be discussing with students the bike component and if they wish to participate. All riders must have road safe bikes for this event. More details to come soon.

St Mary's Annual Swimming Lessons

The Operoo for our annual swimming lessons at Pelican Park has been sent out. Please complete this as soon as possible. Classroom teachers will be sharing details of their grades swimming lesson times as these differ each day to accomodate the school timetable.  If you have any questions regarding the swimming lessons please see Lisa at school or email lgalvin@smhastings.catholic.edu.au
