THE UNIVERSITY OF MELBOURNE - ENABLING PROGRAM
Thinking about studying Science or Commerce at university but don’t meet the required Maths prerequisites? The Uni-Ready Fee-Free Enabling Program could be your pathway.
Through this program, you’ll complete:
- Two compulsory Maths subjects (equivalent to Mathematical Methods prerequisites)
- Two first-year subjects from either the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Commerce, depending on your chosen pathway
When you finish, these two first-year subjects will count towards your degree.
Best of all – thanks to the Fee-Free Uni-Ready initiative, you won’t incur any HELP debt for this program.
Eligibility
- Domestic students only
- ATAR of 70+ with Units 1 & 2 (Year 11) Mathematical Methods (or equivalent)
- English requirement (e.g. Study Score of 25 in VCE English)
- For Science stream only: VCE Units 3 & 4 in Biology, Chemistry or Physics (Study Score of 25+) Meeting requirements does not guarantee selection.
Equity priority: students from low SES, regional/remote, disability, or Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander backgrounds.
