School Spirit Shines Bright!
What a spectacular day we had at our Combined Athletics Carnival on Friday! The weather cleared beautifully, setting the stage for a day filled with energy, determination, and outstanding sportsmanship. I have received messages and calls about how wonderful our students were on the day and extremely proud to share this!
A Display of Pride and Team Spirit
The day kicked off with an absolute highlight: the school marching. It was wonderful to see our students marching with such pride, wearing blue beautifully, and cheering at the top of their lungs. The school spirit on display set a positive, inclusive tone for the rest of the day, with students encouraging each other across every single event.
Triumphs on the Field and Track
Our athletes gave it their absolute all, pushing their personal boundaries and cheering on their peers. The field and track events saw incredible participation and talent across all age groups:
🏃 On the Track: The energy was electric during the sprints and distance races, with some incredibly close finishes that kept everyone on the edge of their seats.
👟 In the Pit: The long jump saw students flying through the air, aiming for personal bests with every leap.
💪 At the Throws: Over at shot put and discus, our students demonstrated fantastic technique, strength, and focus.
Whether finishing first or simply giving it a go to earn valuable points for our school, every single student should be incredibly proud of their efforts.
We will complete our High Jump finals at school this Wednesday and look forward to sharing information with you regarding students who have qualified for Diocesan level in Tamworth on - Wednesday 5 August, 2026.
Thank You to Our Fantastic Families
A massive thank you must go to our wonderful community. We deeply value the time our families took to come along, pack the sidelines, and cheer on the kids. Your presence, cheers, and support made a massive difference to the atmosphere and gave our competitors an extra boost of confidence out on the field.
We also extend our gratitude to the staff, volunteers, and student helpers from Warialda High School who worked behind the scenes to ensure the carnival ran smoothly.
Well done and thank you to everyone involved!
