Bullying No Way Week
Wellbeing Captains - Piper, Chloe and Lucia.
This week was Bullying No Way National Week of Action and the theme this year was ‘Small Acts, Big Impact’. As a school we focused on 2 small acts: Including others by being kind and Being an upstander. When people complete these small acts it helps students feel happy, confident and part of the community.
At lunch throughout the week, we gathered students from Prep to Year 6 and asked when they were kind and when they were an upstander. We celebrated the small acts students at EPS were making and created a display in the Green Zone of everyone's efforts.
Some of the comments made by students were:

We want everyone here at EPS to feel safe, valued and supported. Our focus on being kind and being an upstander this week will encourage others to have positive interactions with others more often. With these small acts we can help prevent bullying.
