Year 12 News
Last week we saw some significant milestones in their school life for our year 12’s.
Monday saw the final assembly, with students being presented individually to the school community. Followed by speeches from Ms. Taylor and reflections of their schooling from Ben Pocock, Lexi Whatley, Bree Larkins and Tiahna Michalik. This represented the final day of official school classes.
Tuesday was celebration day - the final official day of year 12. The students were treated to breakfast and a special thank you must go to Amanda Dickson for organizing the food and drinks. Thanks must also go to Ben Joustra, Joey McArlein, Jen Hutchison, Lilly Fowler, Georgia Pike, Kendall Carracher, Jack Clarke, Mel Boyd, Fiona Taylor and Warwick Lamb for helping out in the morning.
A quick trip to Curlewis Driving range for some minigolf and golf to relieve the stress of finishing school and then back for dismissal. A big well done to the students who attended as their dress ups based on the theme “POP CULTURE” and their behaviour was excellent for the day.
Tuesday 27th, also saw our scored VCE students go to Quamby to sit the English written exam with over 47000 of their peers around the state. With a big couple of weeks ahead for those sitting exams, a reminder that teaching staff are available to support students in their preparation. This can be a stressful time and we are also here to support the students if required.
Finally, Congratulations to the students who have finished their schooling and good luck on your future pathways.

Homework Club
To support students to improve their maths, we are starting an optional drop-in sessions with some of our Maths teachers to help you review your maths work and finish off classwork or homework, get assistance to prepare for tests and exams, or just a time and space to finish off your maths work!
Anyone from years 7 to 12 completing any maths subject is welcome and encouraged to attend.
Mr McKeon will be in Y1 on Tuesday at lunchtime, and Mrs White will be in the Library from 3.10 to 4.10.
