Damascus Music Day

On Monday 9 October, Trinity's senior band and junior band joined together to create the Combined Concert Band and travelled by bus to Damascus College in Ballarat. 

The purpose of the excursion was to show Damascus students how lucky we are with our instrumental programs and several bands. We wanted to encourage the students and teachers at the college to create their own band with all their individual instrumental students. By encouraging them to create their own band, we open opportunities for more excursions where we can join with their band and do special performances. 

Damascus's hospitality was greatly appreciated and we look forward to working with them again.

Colac Area Health Foundation Fundraiser

On Sunday 15 October four of our dedicated musicians entertained guests for four hours at one of the Historic Open Houses to raise money for the Colac Area Health Foundation. Marissa, Mason, Chloe and Tessa performed solo, in duets, trios and as a group in a range of styles and across multiple instruments. Not only did they show their love and dedication to their Music studies but they also set a fine example for Trinity.
