Hello Everyone!
The end of the year is fast approaching us and like always, there have been plenty of school activities and events of late - with lots more to come. Next week is our last week of 2024 classes, this week provides teachers with the opportunity to finish of any remaining class work and then provide feedback to students.
On the 2nd of December we will roll into our HeadStart period which is where students move into their 2025 classes with new teachers, supported by a new Team Leder and year level support team.
Colour Run
On Wednesday last week, all students celebrated our last day with our current year 10 students by participating in a colour run activity around Lake Hyland. This was an awesome way to finish the day and was enjoyed by all staff and students. Well-done to our student representative council for their coordination of the event, it was a big success.
Year 10 Formal
On Thursday night (21/11) our year 10 students all got dressed up for their final celebration of their time on the junior campus at the Churchill Hotel for their Formal. Students looked amazing and the venue was set up in a very glitzy manner. Year level awards for handed out, a meal was shared and then music was played for students to relax, dance and enjoy being together before the venture up to the University Campus for year 11. A huge shout out to Todd Miller, the yr 10 teaching team and all the amazing support staff that help set up the venue and coordinate the evening.
Week 8
Feedback & Skills Week with Awards Ceremonies for our current Yr 7/8/9 cohorts.
Next week will be our final week of students completing classes in 2024 timetables. During this week, each year level will have an Awards Assembly to acknowledge a number of individual student efforts across a range of different areas as well as celebrating the year of 2024. Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend these Assemblies.
