Young @Art Festival
Wow, what an incredible celebration we had at the Young @ Art Festival!
Thanks to Ann-Maree Bosomworth and her team, the school felt like a lively carnival of creativity, music, and fun.
To our budding artists, the students at GRPS your amazing artwork stole the show and filled our school with colour and inspiration. And to the musical talents who busked their hearts out, thank you for bringing that extra bit of magic and melody!
A big shoutout to everyone who took part in the chocolate toss, stage performances, mystery bags, art auction, raffles, games, photos, and all the surprises sprinkled throughout the day! We couldn’t have pulled this off without the energy and generosity of our fantastic community and staff particulary the 700 sausages and hamburgers cooked and consumed (Thank you Craig Hill).
It took a team to make this happen, and what a team we have!

Secondary Students -We need your assistance.
We have always enjoyed welcoming our former students back to the school, especially those who come to pick up younger siblings. However, in recent weeks, we have noticed an increase in secondary students gathering on our grounds during school hours, which has raised some concerns among families and has impacted the sense of safety we strive to maintain.
Our primary school facilities, including toilets and play areas like the basketball courts are designated for our students. It is important that these spaces remain safe and accessible only to them throughout the school day.
Unfortunately, it’s often not our former students, but the friends they bring with them, who are unfamiliar with our expectations.
To address this, I spoke today with the Principal of Ringwood Secondary College, who was very supportive. Together, we’re working to communicate a clear message to our secondary students, encouraging them to wait until after our school day ends to enter primary school grounds.
To facilitate this transition, we’re implementing a temporary restriction.
We kindly ask secondary students to refrain from entering our grounds during school hours. For those collecting younger siblings, we suggest meeting at a designated point near the school gate after the bell rings.
Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us maintain a secure environment for all of our students.
Enjoy the sunshine on the weekend
