YOUNG @ ART FESTIVAL

What a wonderful community event our Young @ Art Festival was. Our student artworks were a magnificent centre piece that showcased the talent of our children and it was amazing to see them sharing their work with family and friends so proudly.

The Glow Room, full of eye-catching creations from our Prep, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students was a sight to behold and the corridors were lined with a diverse array of masterpieces.

Outside, the fun continued with the Chocolate Toss, Teacher Mystery Bags, Photobooth, Backwards Bingo and Face Painting - all huge hits with young and old alike. Our community fully embraced the spirit of the event and were well nourished by the volunteers on the BBQ.

Thanks goes to those hard workers and to everyone who contributed to the delicious delights on the cake stall. Great Ryrie truly is a remarkable community and it was great to celebrate an evening of art, games and yummy food together.

I would like to thank Miss Roberts and Miss Milner for their efforts in organizing the night and also Mrs Rice who stepped in when Miss Roberts was unable to attend.

Our dedicated teaching staff enthusiastically ran the stalls along with some wonderful volunteers and our office team also need recognition for taking on all of the jobs that an event like this creates with a smile on their faces.

Finally, thank you and congratulations to our amazing Fundraising Committee who worked tirelessly to create such a successful event.
