Dio Soccer Trials
Last Thursday, a number of our students attended the Diocesan soccer team trials, where they participated enthusiastically and showcased their skills. Congratulations to all students who took part in the trials, and a special mention to Harvey Quarmby and Archie Eades, who were successful in being selected for the Diocesan Soccer Team. They will now form part of the Bathurst Diocesean Team to take part in the Polding Trials in Bathurst on the 1st of May next term. We wish them well.

Cross Country
During the first week of Term 2, we will be holding our school Cross Country event on Friday 24th April. This event is open to students aged 8 to 12 year old only
Students who wish to participate should be able to run the full distance and should have already taken part in the 800m race at the recent athletics carnival. Students are required to wear their sports uniform and appropriate shoes on the day of the trials.
Primary Students Distances:
Students are encouraged to practise running their event distance during the holidays in preparation.
The top three students in each age group will be eligible to progress to the next event, provided they meet the qualifying time standards. Successful students will be required to make their own way to Coolah for the next stage on Tuesday 5th May.
