NAPLAN 2026

NESA has commenced contacting schools directly about key actions to prepare for 2026 NAPLAN. Key points at the moment are:

Disability adjustment applications

• Closing Friday 20 February: colour contrast modification, assistive technology, scribe and double extra time. Submit via Schools Online.
• Already closed: Alternative format applications. Email the NAPLAN team at NESA immediately if an application has not been submitted.

Technical preparation and practice activities

Schools must ensure that technical preparation and practice activities have been completed by Wednesday 4 March. Essential technical information is available on the Assessform website.

Register for NAPLAN training

It is strongly recommended that all staff involved with NAPLAN undertake online training. Register now.
