Welcome to Library 2026

Peakhurst Public School Library is excited to welcome all students and families to another wonderful year of learning, reading, and discovery in 2026. The library continues to be a vibrant space where students can explore new ideas, develop a love of reading, and build important information and research skills.

Students will participate in regular library lessons throughout the year, engaging with quality literature, learning about library use, and developing their borrowing skills. The library looks forward to supporting students as they grow into confident and enthusiastic readers.

The library warmly welcomes parents' and families' support in helping students make the most of their library experience. You can assist your child by:

• ensuring they bring their library bag on their scheduled library day
• encouraging them to care for borrowed books

• ensuring any borrowed books are returned on time, allowing other students the opportunity to borrow and enjoy them
