Year 8 Humanities -

Shark Tank Business Competition

Some of our Year 8 Humanities students recently put their entrepreneurial skills to the test in an exciting Shark Tank Business Competition!

Working in teams, students designed an original business concept, identified a gap in the market, researched their target audience, and developed strategies to make their business a success. They then pitched their ideas to a panel of teachers, just like contestants on the popular television show.

Each group was assessed on a range of criteria, including the creativity and viability of their business idea, how well they identified a market need, the quality of their business planning, and their presentation and communication skills. Students impressed the judges with their confidence, teamwork, innovation, and ability to answer challenging questions about their businesses.

The competition showcased the fantastic creativity and problem-solving skills of our Year 8 students. From innovative products to unique services, there was no shortage of imaginative ideas.

Congratulations to all students who participated for the enthusiasm, effort, and professionalism they demonstrated throughout the project.

A special thank you to our panel of teachers for volunteering their time to judge the competition and provide valuable feedback to our budding entrepreneurs.
