Catholic Athletics Day 

On Thursday, August 20, over 40 students from years 3–6 competed at the Catholic Athletics Day. The students represented our school across a range of track and field events.

Well done to Archie Keane and Sydney Mertens, who were awarded the Spirit Award for our school. Both Archie and Sydney demonstrated fantastic teamwork, encouragement and sportsmanship, and had a wonderful day competing.

We had the following students finish in the top two places for their age groups:

• Aubrey Higgins – Long Jump – 1st place
• Elsie Keena – Shot Put – 2nd place

• Cove McLean – Triple Jump – 2nd place

   

A big thank you to Miss Barkmeyer, Mr Hammer, Mr Sampson and Mrs Thompson for supporting and encouraging our students throughout the day.

If they fail to do so, they will be marked absent on the class roll and you will receive an SMS asking for absence reason.
