One Big Voice 2026

What an incredible experience One Big Voice 2026 was for our Marangaroo Primary School Choir!

Our choir students performed beautifully at RAC Arena, and I could not be prouder of them. From catching the train and walking to the arena, to rehearsing and performing on that enormous stage alongside thousands of other students, they represented Marangaroo Primary School with pride, maturity, enthusiasm and outstanding behaviour. It was especially wonderful to have teachers from other schools approach us to compliment our students, what an achievement!

An event of this size takes an enormous amount of preparation and support, and there are so many people I would like to thank.

A very special thank you to Abigail’s mum, who generously gave her time to make the beautiful hair ribbons for our girls and buttonholes for our boys. They looked fantastic and helped make our choir feel extra special on the day. Your time, care and generosity are very much appreciated.

A huge thank you to our wonderful Marangaroo Primary School P&C, who organised and prepared the food packs for our choir students. So much work went into ensuring our students were well looked after throughout such a long and exciting day, and we are incredibly grateful for your support.

A heartfelt thank you to Jemima for her endless support throughout the preparation and on the day itself. Having you there every step of the way made such a difference, and I am so grateful for everything you did to help our students and me.

Thank you also to our incredible administration team, who supported us behind the scenes and were on the front line helping to make such a significant school event possible.

To our wonderful choir parents and families thank you for your ongoing commitment and support. From getting students to rehearsals, encouraging them to practise their songs, organising everything needed for the day and supporting me throughout the preparation for such a huge event, you played an enormous part in making this experience possible.

And finally, the biggest congratulations must go to our amazing choir students. Your hard work, commitment, enthusiasm and dedication throughout months of rehearsals certainly paid off. Watching you perform together at RAC Arena was an incredibly proud moment. You were wonderful ambassadors for Marangaroo Primary School, and you should be extremely proud of yourselves.

So many people contributed their time, care and energy to make One Big Voice such a memorable experience for our students. Thank you to each and every one of you.
