Through the Leadership Lens

Dear families,
I will keep things short in this newsletter!
We have had an awesome two weeks here, highlighted by a wonderful Cultural Day celebrating the diverse backgrounds represented at St Leonard’s. Some of our 5/6 leaders crafted engaging activities for the whole school, reminding us of the joy and positive impact a diverse community brings. Days like these only come together with the help of many staff, a big thank you to Signora Siomos and Mr Adaman for the direction, creativity, and organisation that went into running such a fun day for us all.
On a different note, I am writing this a little weary on the back of our Year 5/6 Camp! We had an action-packed three days at Camp Rumbug filled with activities and laughs. Adventure camps are always a brilliant experience, giving students the chance to stretch their comfort zones and challenge their perceptions of what they can achieve. It was fantastic to see the children thrive in a different environment, and I am sure they will always remember the fun they had, especially on those muddy hills!
Have a great weekend, and let's hope this sunshine is here to stay!
