Book Week Parade Bake Sale
A huge thank you to all the students, parents and teachers who supported the Book Week Parade Bake Sale. We raised over $600 for the school. An extra-big thank you to our wonderful families - Chadd, Andersson, Pigott, Grills, Marshall, Price, Pracy, Walker, Andersen, Sincock, Phillips, Carrigan, Benz, Reeves and McLinton - who baked and donated so many delicious goodies. Without you the event wouldn’t have been possible.
Upcoming events
We will be holding another $2 Bake Sale at the K-2 Athletics Carnival. A range of delicious treats will be available in the canteen during recess (11.10-11.50am) on Friday 18 September.
You will also be able to find us at the Creative Arts Showcase, 24 September, where we will be firing up the barbecue from 5pm. You will be able to grab a drink, sausage sandwich or a lamb burger before settling in to watch the show.
And if that wasn’t enough, we will also be firing up the barbecue at Bunnings, (9am-4pm, 17 October). So, while you’re picking up a power tool, pot plant or a few veggies, grab a snag and support our school!
Volunteer opportunities
We are looking for volunteers to help at the Creative Arts Showcase from 5-6pm on Thursday 24 September. We need help cooking snags and serving food and drink.
We are also looking for volunteers to help at the Bunnings sausage sizzle anytime from 9am-4pm, Saturday 17 October. We’ll need a few extra hands to cook snags and serve food and drinks. If you can spare an hour or two, we’d love your help!

Did you know you can support our P&C by making a donation through SchoolBytes? Here’s how.
Every dollar makes a difference.
Your support helps the P&C provide valuable resources, equipment, technology, playground improvements and learning opportunities that benefit every student at our school.
In recent years, your support has helped fund:
• New computers
• The revitalisation of the Pebbles mural and tree planting
• Reduced costs for selected excursions and sporting events
• Community events, including our much-loved Multicultural Festival.
In the year ahead, the P&C hope to support a range of school initiatives, including a playground upgrade, improved heating/cooling in classrooms, and more community events that bring our school together.
If you’re not able to donate, there are plenty of other ways to help! Cook a snag or bake a cake for an event, volunteer your time, or simply purchase something at a fundraiser. Every contribution whether it's your time, skills or a few dollars helps create a better school for our kids.
Interested in getting involved? We'd love to hear from you! Get in touch, and follow us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/share/1FH5ASDxeg/?mibextid=wwXIfr) to stay up to date with upcoming meetings, events and opportunities to support our school.
