BUILDING BELONGING THROUGH COMMUNITY

Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome in returning to backfill in the Wellbeing Leader role. I will be in the position until the end of this school year with Mrs Kemp returning for the beginning of the 2027 school year.

Since returning to the role, I am reminded of the incredible sense of community that makes our school such a special place. One example of this is the dedication shown by our Fundraising Committee and the enthusiastic support from our families during our school fundraising events.

Throughout the year, we have seen fantastic participation in events such as the Father’s Day and Mother’s Day raffles and currently the Colour Fun Run. The Father’s Day raffle raised over $600!

Whether it’s selling tickets, donating prizes, giving up your time to help or making generous cash contributions, your involvement is truly appreciated. These efforts are not just about raising money - they bring us together, build school community, and create lasting memories for our children. When our students see their families supporting the school it helps them to feel connected to their school community and helps to build their sense of belonging.

Fundraising events would not be possible without the hours of work from our wonderful committee and the support of families who donate their time, skills, and resources. Every dollar raised goes straight back into our school, funding projects and improvements that directly benefit all students - now and into the future. This year, all funds raised will go towards the playground redevelopment. 

Thank you for your continued generosity and commitment. When we work together, we achieve great things for our school community.
