St Simon the Apostle Twilight Sport Carnival Results
Our School Twilight Sports Carnival was an evening full of energy, incredible team spirit and smiles! In the warmer weather, students engaged themselves across a variety of fun and challenging events, making it a truly memorable experience for everyone in.
The event kicked off with a fun and exciting debut of our Mascot Race! It was a thrilling and closely contested race between the Red Dragon, Green Dinosaur, Blue Unicorn, and Yellow Bumblebee, with each mascot bringing energy, colour, and plenty of cheers from the crowd.
A highlight of the afternoon was the exciting Shoot and Dunk game, where students showed off their shooting and dunking skills and racked up points for their teams. The Joey Sack Race had everyone smiling, with participants bouncing along like kangaroos in a lively and entertaining contest.
Balance and focus were put to the test in the Egg and Spoon race, where steady hands were the key to success. Meanwhile, the 50m Sprint showcased some seriously fast runners, with students racing down the track at impressive speeds.
Teamwork shone brightly in the Caterpillar Race, as groups worked together to move in sync and reach the finish line. In the Space Ball game, students demonstrated great throwing skills as they aimed to score points for their teams.
Overall, the carnival was a fantastic celebration of participation, effort, and school spirit. It was a great turn out and amazing to see all our school community get together with parents watching our children compete. THANK YOU PARENTS FOR SHARING IN THE FUN AND EXCITING OF THE TWILIGHT SPORTS!
