Our Spotlight Winners for the Week - Good Manners
Behaviour Spotlight
We have all heard the reminders to say "please" and "thank you" a million times, but good manners are not just about parents or teachers being annoying. Manners are actually an essential part of navigating life and building great relationships. When we practice good manners, we show the people around us that we respect them, which instantly makes our school a more positive and welcoming place. Think of manners as a social superpower. They help us make great first impressions, keep our friendships running smoothly, and prevent unnecessary drama or misunderstandings. Whether it is letting someone speak without interrupting, helping a classmate who dropped their books, or simply holding the door open, these small actions show true maturity.

Welcome to Term 3, everyone!
If you've all had a great holiday, whether you stayed at home or if you travelled overseas.
Fingers crossed that everyone is refreshed and rejuvenated for the new school term! This term we have lots of activities and opportunities. ZING Active, a dance program for all grades, happens every Tuesday. TOM is an extra-curricular activity for Year 5 and Year 6 which is Senior School, and happens every Tuesday from 1:45 - 3:45 PM.

Congratulations to all students elected to the Student Representative Council (SRC) for Semester 2. We are proud of your willingness to take on this important leadership role and represent the voices of your peers. We look forward to seeing you demonstrate responsibility, teamwork, and initiative as you work together to make a positive difference in our school community. We wish you every success in your leadership journey and thank you for your commitment to serving others. Well done!
The word of the week is commitment means making a firm promise to stick to a goal, activity, or person, even when things get difficult. It is the dedication required to finish what you start, such as practicing an instrument every day, finishing your homework on time, or supporting your sports team. When you show commitment, you build trust with others and prove that you are reliable.
Here are three ways to practice commitment this week:
- Set a specific goal and stick to it daily.
- Keep your promises to your friends and teachers.
Keep trying even when a task becomes challenging.
