Zone Rugby:

Tuesday was Zone Winter Sports Champs. We sent 60 children to football, a huge contingent to Hockey, the usual large contingent of netballers and fewer Kiwi Sports competitors due to the higher numbers in our competition teams.

We also sent two Rugby teams. Our Under 45 team won all their games, except for one loss to Oratia. They beat Ranui, who somehow finished first, and we somehow finished third. It was an awesome effort and achievement to win all but one game, and we are very proud of the boys.

Our Open Weight team left nothing to chance, winning every game, and many of them by a comprehensive margin.
