Year 11 Biology – Day in the Life of a Scientist
🧬🔬 Our Year 11 Biology students recently stepped into the world of scientific research during their excursion to QIMR Berghofer's Day in the Life of a Scientist program.
Students had the opportunity to explore real-world laboratories, engage with leading researchers, and gain valuable insights into the diverse career pathways available in science. The experience provided a fascinating look into how scientific discoveries are made and the impact they have on improving lives around the world.
A big thank you to QIMR Berghofer for hosting such an inspiring and educational day.

Year 8 History Excursion
Our Year 8 History students recently stepped into the shoes of archaeologists during a mini excavation beneath the fig tree.
Working through layers of bark mulch, students uncovered two artefacts using clues to piece together what they revealed about Viking culture and daily life.
A special shout-out to Xavier Blandford (Year 8), who fully embraced the experience by dressing the part in a traditional Viking-style cloak. A fantastic hands-on lesson that brought history to life!
