Skiers and Snowboarders
Calling all skiers and snowboarders! Join the SFX Interschool Snowsport Team 2026!SFX families are gathering interest to enter a team for the Interschool Snowsport Championships in July 2026 at Perisher.
What is it?
The Interschools Snowsport Championships are one of the largest school sporting events in Australia. Each year more than 7,000 students from nearly 700 schools compete across a variety of skiing and snowboarding disciplines. Students can race as part of a team or as individuals, with events designed to encourage participation.
When and where is it?
- Sydney Regional Championships: 14–17 July 2026, Perisher (during the winter school holidays)
- Top participants may progress to the NSW/ACT/QLD State Championships (17–21 August) and then Australian Championships (1–6 September), also at Perisher.
Who can join? Students who are confident, independent skiers or snowboarders able to ride lifts and manage varied terrain safely. This is not a learn-to-ski program, but no race experience is required – just enthusiasm and a love of the snow!
What families need to do
- Register interest with the school office so we can coordinate entries
- Plan early: families arrange their own transport, accommodation, lift passes and equipment hire. Perisher books out quickly in July!
- Parent participation: families are responsible for supervising their children during the event. The school does not provide staff on the mountain, so a parent or guardian must be present. A Team Manager will attend official briefings and collect bibs/start lists on behalf of SFX.

Domremy
Applications for Enrolment for Year 7 2028 are now open at Domremy College. If you have a daughter who is currently in Year 4 2025, you can Apply Now for Year 7 2028.

Please note that there is no automatic entry into the College from feeder Primary Schools – all families at feeder Primary Schools must complete an Application to Enrol their daughter at the College.
There are also two remaining Domremy College Tours in Term 4:
- Tuesday 21 October 2025 at 5.00pm
- Friday 14 November 2025 at 9.30am.
